Our Coronavirus Statement (with updates)

As of Friday 20th March 2020, we have taken the difficult decision to suspend all of our swimming lessons until further notice due to the recent outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19). We have reached this decision following consultation with our staff and following the advice given by our national governing body in association with the government. We would like to assure everyone that lesson credits will be carried over for any lessons missed from today until the end of the current term. These will be credited toward future terms fees.
We would like to thank everyone for their continued support, from those that have only been with us for a couple of months to those that have been with us for several years, we will keep you informed of what is happening, as and when we know.
With the uncertain times ahead, we will not be collecting any fees until we are confident we can resume swimming lessons, all spaces for current clients will be carried forward to the next term, whenever this may be.
With this in mind, we have also made the decision to suspend the waiting list until we return as there are a large number of entries already waiting for lessons, we have created a facility for people wishing to join our waiting list, to enter their email and receive an email when it is back up.

We have now restarted some of our lessons, these are the classes that we can run with the teacher on the poolside, all of our other lessons are still suspended at these times.
As we restart our lessons, it should be noted that lessons won't look anything like they did before. Some of the changes that we have made to our lessons are detailed below:
Payment is now being taken online only, there are two payment methods now available, these are Direct Debit (our preferred method of payment) and Online Card payments, these will be reflected in the invoices we send you from now on.
We have now fully transitioned to a fully online system, you can now access all of your own personal information in our system by using a login to the Client Hub platform.
We'll be using email from now on to send you all of the course information that you used to receive on paper. This makes it easier and more convenient for you and better for the environment.
We will share a record of your attendance with NHS test and trace if requested.
We have made changes to the way we teach our lessons to maintain social distancing and get all of our swimmers back to the level they were achieving pre-lockdown. For a full list of changes that we have made please visit our COVID-19 page by clicking here.

Following the government's announcement this evening, there will be no lessons running between the 5th November and the 3rd December 2020.
We will be crediting the number of lessons that your child will miss to your SwimSoft account, these will be applied to a future invoice.

Update 2nd December 2020
Today, we have received confirmation from Faversham Pools that they do not intend to open the pools before the new year. This, unfortunately, means that we are unable to run lessons until the pool opens again. We will apply further credits to your SwimSoft account for the number of lessons missed in total this term.
Alternatively, we have now set up a facility where you are able to request a refund, if this is available to you we have emailed you to let you know what your options are.
Update 15th December 2020
Following Faversham pools announcement earlier today, we are saddened to announce that we will not be running lessons until February at the earliest. You can view more about this announcement here.
As announced in our previous update there is now a facility where you can request a refund of your course fees for the November term, the details can be found in the email we sent you.

What's happening with swimming lessons?
All lessons are currently suspended until the beginning of February 2021 due to the pool closure until this time, we will be keeping all customers up to date via regular emails (so please make sure we have your most up to date email address on Client Hub).
Do I still have to pay to keep my child's space?
No, not at all. Everybody that had a space before the March 2020 lockdown will still have a space when we return to swimming lessons.
A credit for any lessons missed has automatically been applied to your SwimSoft account. These credits will be used against invoices for future courses.
Additionally, for those customers who paid their fees for the November 2020 course, there is now a facility for you to request a refund from us. Details of this can be found in the email we sent you.
What's happening with the waiting list?
We have taken the decision to suspend the waiting list, this is due to the number of entries we were receiving, with the length exceeding a year in most cases. You are currently still able to register with Client Hub, however, we will not be allocating anyone to a waiting list at the current time
