The following terms and conditions apply to all those attending lessons with Dolphin Swimming School Faversham ("DSS"), ("we"), ("us") when providing our services ("swimming lessons") to you and your child. Please read this document carefully and retain a copy for your records, this document is also available upon request from
1. Registering for Client Hub and booking swimming lessons
By registering with us or booking onto a course of swimming lessons, you agree to these terms and conditions.
You will ensure that you abide by the rules set out to you in these conditions and those set out by Faversham Pools.
Dolphin Swimming School Faversham reserves the right to change these terms and conditions where reasonable notice is given to you.
2. Registration within Client Hub Software
Your data is stored within the SwimSoft course management solution, Client Hub is an extension of this software allowing you to access key information about the services we provide to you.
You have a responsibility to keep all of this information up to date and accurate, as we cannot be held liable for any inaccurate information that is held by us.
Your information can be accessed and amended by only designated administrators, who will treat all information as private and confidential.
Teachers shall have access to key information, including (but not limited to) Full name, date of birth, medical information, and progress within swimming lessons.
3. Waiting list and booking onto your first course.
When registering with Client Hub you have the opportunity of placing your children down on a waiting list for their respective abilities. This information is held by us and we will notify you of any spaces becoming available.
Once booked onto your first course, you will automatically be offered a space on the next course.
All information regarding the course will be communicated to you in either; a) a booking letter b) an invoice (This information will also be available within the Client Hub software)
We reserve the right to amend any of the details of your course, we will, of course, provide you with sufficient notice regarding these changes.
Fees will be confirmed upon booking onto your course.
All communication from us is delivered via email, we cannot be held responsible for any loss incurred of any kind due to a) your email client sending any of our emails to your spam folder. b) You (the client) not seeing our email. In this event, all invoices are still payable in full.
4. Bookings on to subsequent courses
All bookings onto subsequent courses will be offered to current clients, with new spaces being offered to a client on our waiting list.
All communication about future courses will be communicated to you, in the form of invoices.
Fees will be confirmed when you receive confirmation of your new lesson dates.
We reserve the right to amend any of the details of the course, we will, of course, provide you with sufficient notice of any changes.
5. Paying your course fees
Your fees can be paid either by Direct Debit (Preferred) or Credit/Debit card online.
If you are paying via Direct Debit the following applies:
A mandate must be set up at least seven days in advance of your first lesson.
We will always try and collect your fees towards the end of the month they are due.
If you are paying via Credit/Debit card payment (online):
Fees must be paid in full before the date stated on your invoice to avoid losing your space on the course.
If you fail to pay on three separate occasions, you will be removed from the course and will not be eligible for any further courses.
6. Illnesses and Medical Conditions
It is the responsibility of the parent to keep their child(ren)'s medical information up to date, this allows us to make arrangements accordingly.
Should your child have any contagious illness, please do not bring them to swimming lessons. You do not need to let us know if your child(ren) are unable to attend for a singles session.
Your child(ren) should not attend if they have any of the following:
Vomiting (within the past 72 hours)
Diarrhoea (within the past 72 hours)
Any contagious disease
Please contact us if you have any other queries relating to any other health problems.
We can not accept any responsibility for your child(ren) catching any illness or disease while attending our lessons.
In the event that your child is unable to make a lesson due to illness, no credit or refund will be provided.
Further to the point above, should you child(ren) have a serious illness (including broken bones), one that means they will be unable to attend swimming lessons for a period of longer than 3 consecutive weeks, then, at our sole discretion, we may offer you a credit or refund for the remaining lessons of the course. These will be assessed on a case by case basis.
If you take a holiday that leads to your child(ren) missing one or more lessons, you are still required to pay for all lessons. Your child(ren)'s space(s) will still be held for the remainder of the course.
In the event that your holiday spans more than the length of the term for swimming lessons, there is no guarantee that we will be able to hold your space, but please get in contact with us.
8. Pool Rules
Children under the age of eight years must be accompanied by an adult a all times, only two under-eights per adult are permitted.
There is no running in any area of the pool at any time
Shoes must not be worn on poolside (blue overshoes are available at reception)
You should not change your child in the cafeteria, but use the changing room provided
Children wishing to use the pool before and/or after the lesson, are welcome to as the price of admission is included in the lesson, however, any parent/guardian wishing to swim must pay for a full admission at reception
9. Lesson rules
Long hair should be tied back or placed in a swimming cap (this is optional)
Children must be accompanied to the toilet by parents or guardians (teachers are not able to do this)
Swimmers should go to the toilet before the lessons start.
Swimmers should remain seated on poolside until the teacher signals the start of the lesson.
Safety is of paramount importance to us, therefore, we reserve the right to remove any child(ren) that cause us concern in regard to the safety of our lessons.
10. Cancellation of lessons
If the lesson(s) is cancelled by us:
We will make every effort not to cancel a lesson, however, we may have to in the event of temporary pool closure or staff sickness
We will try to let you know as soon as we can about any cancellation of lessons, any notification of cancelled lessons will be communicated to you in the form of either an email and/or text message.
In the case of cancellation by us, we will issue a credit or a refund for that lesson.
We will not be held responsible for any cost incurred (travel expenses, parking expenses, etc.) from you turning up for a lesson that has been cancelled, other than the credit or refund mentioned in the previous point.
If the lesson(s) are cancelled by you:
If you cancel swimming lessons after your first session, the full amount for the whole term is payable whether you attend any further sessions or not.
If you cancel your lessons before the first session, you shall be entitled to a full refund.
Should you receive a place at a swimming course having been referred by us, you may be entitled to a refund for any remaining session within that course.
11. Requesting to change lessons
We are able to offer, at our sole discretion the ability to change (at your request) the day and/or time of your child(ren)'s lessons. This is on the condition that;
The lesson that they are moving to is of equal ability to their current class
There is sufficient space in the class that they are moving to.
You are not able to request that your child move up into the next class, this is the sole decision of your child's teacher and their decision is final.
In the event of a lesson change resulting in you receiving less than the number of lessons displayed on your invoice, we shall credit you the amount related to that lesson towards a future course.

Some of the content on this website may have comments enabled, where this is the case, we will not accept any defamatory or abusive language of any type. Where we become aware of this language we will take steps to delete the relevant comments, and, if necessary, take steps to prevent the user from commenting on our site again. Illegal content of any description must not be posted on this site, blog, or any social media channel, where this is the case we will take all of the steps above to prevent such activity and notify the relevant authorities.
